Year 6 visited SafetyWorks! where we experienced a range of interactive safety scenarios in impressive, true-to-life settings, helping us learn how to prevent danger and live safely.
the workshops involved were:
- metro safety
- how to act around dogs
- how peer pressure can influence your decisions and how the consequences of those actions may involve the police
- we found out what to do in the event of a fire and how to minimise the risks of fires
- We learned about first aid placed our friends in the recovery position
An interesting and enjoyable afternoon was had by all!
