Bring It On Net Zero 2021

Year 6 took part in the Bring It On Net Zero 2021 virtual event. We became engineers and generated ideas for companies to become more environmentally friendly. Throughout the day, we listened to the career paths of many different types of companies and were inspired by the wealth of STEM opportunities there are. Our Year 6 pupils are extremely creative and inventive: we hope you like our ideas….

Addition on a number line

10th November 2021Miss K. Wilkinson

Class 4 have been learning how to use the number line in our Power Maths lessons this week. The children are working well with this tool to solve addition problems. That have learnt how to count in to add two parts together and today they learnt how to solve missing number problems.

Neve explained to me “you’ve got to start on the first part count on to the total and then count the jumps. That will tell you the missing number!”
A perfect explanation 👍🏻
