As part of our Going Wild topic, our amazing Year 1/2 children had an unforgettable adventure at Northumberland Zoo!

Commando Joe’s Mission: Spartacus

13th June 2025Miss K. Wilkinson

Today, Year 5 stepped into the sandals of Spartacus — a brave gladiator leading a mission against all odds! With fewer men in his army, Spartacus had only one chance of winning: teamwork. And that’s exactly what we showed!

From building battle strategies to completing challenges, we showed:
️ Self-communication – thinking before acting and talking clearly to each other
Teamwork – listening, encouraging, and making sure no one was left behind

Every decision counted, and we worked like a true army!
Spartacus would’ve been proud.
