What a night for our boys! Our school football team put in two outstanding performances, securing two fantastic wins:
3-0 vs. East Boldon Juniors – A dominant display in the local derby!
4-0 vs. Biddick Hall Juniors – Another brilliant performance!
Well done, boys! You played really well, showing great skill, teamwork and determination.
Teamwork, problem-solving, and big smiles in Reception today!
Some of our Reception children had an amazing time working together to build a huge Duplo tower – so tall it stretched all the way from the floor to the ceiling!
They showed fantastic teamwork, perseverance, and creativity, and their proud faces said it all when they completed their challenge. Well done, everyone!
A huge well done to our amazing Year 3 pupils who took part in a bench ball competition at Boldon Comp on the 19th February! They showed incredible teamwork, skill and determination, which led them finishing joint first!
We are all so proud of their effort and sportsmanship – what a fantastic achievement!
What an absolutely amazing performance by the talented senior school students! Our Year 5 children were captivated from start to finish (as were the staff!)
It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces on stag, including several of last year’s Year 6 pupils and past students, shining with confidence and talent!
A huge well done to our Year 5 children, who were impeccably behaved throughout the afternoon and represented West Boldon Primary with pride!
Thank you to Boldon School for inviting us – what a fantastic experience!
Our Year 4 children are excited to be selected for a STEM/careers project with the local business, The Simpson Group! They will be collaborating to design a product display for greeting cards. This week, the class kicked off the project by exploring the possibilities of cardboard, creating some truly imaginative and fantastic creations!
Yesterday, our Year 5 and 6 children had an exciting visit from the members of the Royal Navy! They learned all about the incredible work the Navy does to protect our country and help others around the world.
During an engaging presentation, the children asked some fantastic questions including;
- How does the Royal Navy help during natural disasters?
- What training do you need to join the Navy?
After the talk, the children got hands-on in workshops, working as a team to create and test their own flares – designed to signal for help in an emergency.
The session was truly educational and inspiring, showing the children the importance of teamwork, resilience and problem-solving – just like in the Royal Navy!
Class 6 have been diving into the wonders of the Arctic, and this week, we’ve been mesmerised by the beauty of the Aurora Borealis!
In our Art lessons, we’ve been experimenting with pastels and chalks, learning how to smudge and blend colours to recreate the breathtaking Northern Lights. Using different techniques, we’ve captured the swirling, glowing skies that makes this natural phenomenon so magical.
It’s been a fantastic way to combine our Geography and Art skills, and we can’t wait to display our stunning creations!
