The Giving Project volunteers thoughtfully made ‘Teeth Brushing Charts’ for every child in Reception. The Reception children had a visit from the Dental Nurse, to teach the children how to brush their teeth correctly and the importance of looking after their teeth.
The Teeth Brushing Charts will help children track their teeth brushing each day, morning and night,as they tick the chart, once they have brushed their teeth.
The charts were greatly received by the Reception children and Mrs Bingham and staff were very proud of the Giving Project children for being so kind and thoughtful and for volunteering in their spare time.

Making Decorations for Various Events in school
The Giving Project volunteers have been enjoying making decorations for various events that have been held in school this term. They have made decorations for the Macmillan Coffee Morning, decorations to celebrate Autumn and beautiful decorations for Christmas. They also enjoyed helping to decorate the beautiful Christmas Tree in the school hall. The children have made a difference to all of these events creating ambiance and atmosphere and should be very proud of themselves.
Supporting Age Concern at Christmastime
The Giving Project volunteers kindly supported Age Concern by making beautiful handmade Christmas cards. A lady from Age Concern came to collect the cards from the children, she thanked them personally for their cards and explained how happy the old people will be when they receive them.. In return, this made the children feel very happy that they could help. School staff are very proud of them.
